The 7th Annual Amelia Island Museum of History Holiday Home Tour is coming up fast! This is a popular event that kicks off the post-Thanksgiving holiday season with a tour of homes on December 6 and 7. Several of the downtown Historic District homes are open to the public and are specially decorated for the holidays. The museum really pulls out all the stops with this event and even has carolers at some of the houses. The Bailey House (the one with the carrousel horses on the porch, kitty corner from the Addison) is even open for a special tea in the afternoon. There is some beautiful fall weather ahead which makes a great afternoon of strolling the Historic District and getting an inside peak at some of these gorgeous homes.
