The annual Amelia Island Book Festival is a gathering designed to enrich lives through reading while simultaneously fostering a love for literature for guests of all ages. The festival includes an exciting series of public events throughout the year featuring best-selling authors and independent publishers alike alongside unique workshops and creative programming. The main festival event is hosted yearly and is expected to bring authors and over 1,300 readers together in the name of reading and literature. The festival plays host to over 100 authors on-site with opportunities for guests to enjoy book signings, breakout presentations and one-of-a-kind activities over the course of an afternoon. In 2026, the festival is also scheduled to include special sessions that focus on young adult publications and workshops focused on aspiring teen writers. There will be a Kids Zone for little ones to enjoy and plenty of door prizes and food trucks to check out as well. The Amelia Island Book Festival is a family friendly.
