Step into a scene out of “A Christmas Carol” when you visit Amelia Island during the holiday season! Dickens on Centre has been one of our favorite holiday events on Amelia Island for seven years. This four-day Christmas celebration features local vendors, live entertainment, and even Saint Nick himself on Centre Street in historic downtown Fernandina Beach!
The 2023 Dickens on Centre celebration will take place from December 8-10.
2. Holiday Home Tour
Historic downtown Fernandina is known for the Victorian-style homes that line the streets. Each holiday season, the Amelia Island Museum of History hosts the Holiday Home Tour, where locals and visitors alike are welcome to tour five of the most beautiful homes in town while they’re all decked out with Christmas lights, trees, and more!
The 2023 Holiday Home Tour will take place on December 1st and 2nd.
3. Festive Holiday Lighting & Décor
You can feel the spirit of Christmas by simply driving or walking up and down the streets of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The city does an excellent job of decorating the trees and storefronts with Christmas lights, ornaments, and more.
