Spend Time Birdwatching on Egans Creek Greenway  

Matching great scenery and wildlife watching with outdoor adventure is easy to do when you take a stroll along the Egans Creek Greenway. This area is easy to navigate thanks to the network of trails on-site that are suitable for all skill levels. 

The Egans Creek Greenway is part of more than 300 acres of protected wetlands across northern Amelia Island, providing a prime habitat for a variety of bird species. If you arrive with binoculars in hand, you’ll have a good chance of spotting herons and egrets along the way. This area is also home to alligators and turtles, so it’s worth your while to take your time and observe your surroundings closely.
