October on Amelia Island
Experience 8 days of smooth sounds at the Les DeMerle Amelia Island Jazz Festival! Styles willl include contemporary jazz, big band, latin, swing, and more. This year, the festival’s headliners will include Chunhild Carlin and The Four Freshmen. November on Amelia Island
While a bit slower and cooler than other months, November still offers a great time for beach walks and outdoor exploration. During the month, you can also celebrate the return of the endangered North Atlantic right whale at the Right Whale Festival. During this time, the whales give birth and nurse their young. As of writing, there are fewer than 380 of these creatures remaining. The event will also highlight efforts to keep the population from extinction at this free event.
