What to wear

Winter (December, January, February)

During the winter months, daily and nightly temperatures have the most change. During the day, temperatures tend to be in the low to mid-60s. At night, it drops into the 40s, so it gets a little chilly! Pack long-sleeved shirts and long pants, and bring a light jacket. However, bring t-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops for those warmer days!

Spring is warm and comfortable! With temperatures rising into the mid to upper 70s during the day and 60s at night, you can’t go wrong! Bringing clothing for warmer months is the overall way to go. You can still get a jacket and pants in case of a cold night, but you probably won’t need them.

Summer (June, July, August)

This is the sizzling time! Put away the pants and jackets. Florida is hot this time of year! Bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts, and sunglasses are all you need! Temperatures go as high as the low 90s and only fall to the low 70s at night. Get ready for fun in the sun!

Fall (September, October, November)

Fall in Amelia Island feels like summer at first. So in September, you’ll be fine with summer clothes. October and November are cooler. Temperatures lower into the 60s and 50s, so pack the jacket and pants again! However, fall is comfortable, so don’t worry about being too cold!
