Fernandina Beach Market Place Farmers Market
Fernandina Beach Market Place showcases arts and produces markets along North 7th Street in historic downtown Fernandina. This market is open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Being one block from the Inn, a walk to the market is a great way to start your day!
There’s no better way to support Amelia Island’s local artists than with the Artrageous Art Walk! This Amelia Island event takes place on the second Saturday of each month at participating galleries within walking distance of the Inn in historic downtown Fernandina.
Enjoy an intimate, Southern-inspired farm-to-table dinner at The Sprouting Project. Guests will tour Amelia Island Plantation’s state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse, expansive organic garden, and a large collection of beehives before enjoying a plated dinner that incorporates items harvested directly from The Sprouting Project. This monthly event takes place on a chosen Saturday evening at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort.
Egan’s Creek Greenway Walking Tours
Discover the natural beauty of Amelia Island with Egan’s Creek Greenway Walking Tours! The Parks & Recreation Department offers free leisurely walking tours that explore the flora and fauna of the Egan’s Creek Greenway, a protected area of more than 300 acres that runs north to south along Egan’s Creek. The walks are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Pre-register for nature walks at least two days in advance by calling 904-310-3350, ext 1.

Amelia Island Museum of History Holiday Home Tour │ December
This tour visits 5 Victorian homes in the downtown historic district of Fernandina Beach, all within walking distance of The Addison on Amelia Island and tastefully decorated for the holiday season!
Dickens on Centre │ December
Travel back in time December 2024, during the tenth annual Dickens on Centre festival in historic downtown Fernandina Beach, Florida, on beautiful Amelia Island. Free to the public, this Victorian holiday festival is sure to enliven your Christmas spirit. Throughout the weekend feel the spirit of the holiday with Victorian-inspired entertainment on two stages. Families will enjoy a plethora of fun including Tiny Tim’s Kids Zone, visits with St. Nick, holiday entertainment and shopping, festive food and drink, costumed characters, holiday movies and plenty of Christmas inspiration.

The Sounds on Centre | April through October
Sounds on Centre is a family-friendly event that invites locals and visitors alike to make their way to 102 Centre Street in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach for free Friday concerts! Shows start at 6:00pm and there are Sounds on Centre t-shirts to purchase and raffles to enter full of prizes donated by local businesses. Come as you are, bring a lawn chair, and get ready for a Friday evening of fun!
